Entry#5: My attitude toward study

Study is as important as other things, activities and events  in everyone's life.
A person acquires knowledge wiht the help of study. In addition, he or she gets an edifying lesson and pleasure from it. Study encourages students, as well as, people to see the world different views, and to be the indespensible person in society.
If I tell you about my attitude toward study, I cannot depict them without exaggeration. The reason why I am telling so is that I am very fond of studying.
That's why I try to learn something new in the field of the English language as well as in other fields. I must emphasize that I'm deeply involved in study, for example, if I begin reading books or searching for some information which engrosses me, I insist on completing the task or attaining my purpose of finding the information or material I need. The following statements can be cited as examples.
When I was the third course student at lyceum, I started learning physics deeper, because then I had desire for entering Turin Polythecnic University in Tashkent. I looked for a lot of books on physics, especially, school manuals. I attended the bazaar, the rink of books everyday as I wanted to find neccessary books and learn them. I found the books and bought them. Then I had all the books except for physics for the eleventh grade. I commenced looking for this book again. I found the previous books used at schools some years ago. I didn't stop achieving my goal of finding that book. At last I found the book in one sales books rink. Then I was so happy that it would give me something splendid. Of course, it gave me a lot of great things such as the grandour of books within study.
From my point of view, a person benefits from study. As a person lives in this world, he/she strives for knowing everything and wants to be aware of the events occuring round the world. We can say new technologies such as computers, mobile phones, Internet and so forth have brought matchless changes into our life. As a result, people's outlook are increasung and trying to know everything they are interested in.
At the end of the parahraph, I would say my attitude toward study is matchless and limitless. It will stay so even in the future.
"No trace of slavery ought to mix with the studies of the freeborn man. No study, pursued under compulsion, remains rooted in the memory." (Plato)

Entry#4: Benefits and dangers of the Internet to children

The 21st  century is the century of Information technology. In this very quickly changing century, a lot of technologies are penetrating into our life. Not only they make their products known all over the world, but also provide the consumers such as companies, plants etc. Among these technologies the most popular high technology, without which people cannot fancy their lives is the computer. Computers play a very important role in our today's life. In a nutshell, it is used for multi-purpose services. One of the most used services is the Internet. You are surprised that not only the elderly use the Internet, but also children use it today. However, we can not approve of the Internet completely, even though it is the main base of this time. As everything has its pros and cons, the Internet ha benefits and dangers. The following statements that I'm going to tell about the implications of the Internet on children.

One of the greatest benefits children will see is they can now communicate with their friends in every possible way and interact with them. Technologically, they will be able to “talk” with their peers in every conceivable way whether it is via email, instant messaging via their cell or computer or share pictures and ideas from social network sites such as www.myspace.com. It gives them a feeling of belonging and helps them form who they are. Of course, there can be extremes to these cases and you will, consequently, need to monitor their usage.

Children will be able to keep not only in touch with their friends online locally but they can communicate with relatives half-way around the world. They can keep in touch with their grandparents, cousins or friends from overseas and simultaneously talk and view with them live. Things like this were not possible even ten years ago.

Of course, children love to play their favorite computer game. This doesn’t necessarily the extreme, violent games. The benefit to children could be the educational computer games. Many games are interactive and have great learning elements to them.
The next thing that I'm going to lay stress on is the dangers of the Internet to children.

Although minors don't risk as much financial loss as adults, they are in danger of exposure to interlopers aiming to hijack or share their online identity. Children are especially vulnerable because they're often unable to identify and report data-snatching malware, and because they tend to be less cautious about sharing sensitive information with strangers and friends.

Kids often value "free" over "safe." Young surfers involved in link-sharing and file-sharing among peers are at higher risk of downloading infected programs. Malware distributors know kids seek out free software, music, and "cracks" (serial numbers) for pirating commercial games; they also know these same kids often trust links and e-mail attachments far more than they should.

Generally speaking, the most appropriate way of providing children with safe Internet information is to teach kids to be extremely cautious when opening downloads or links from friends and strangers. Also I would offer children never to click advertisments or answer unsolicited e-mails. With these useful instructions, we will be able to protect our children against harm around us, and to provide them with safety.

Entry#3: The language of study

The language of study is the main root of knowing terms used in language skills. As we know, knowledge is power, and knowing different languages are the requirements of the period. Particularly, the English language is one of the most wide spread language in the world. Thus it's being taught in every school of the world. It's no exaggeration to say that this lanugage is being taught perfectly by native instructors. Each student needs to learn the terms neccessary for language skills. In my point of view, learning the language of study will only be avail to us. For instance, words such as fund, degree, thesis and others are very significant in students' acquiring language skills. These words are not only important, but they alo help students reinforce their language adjustments in their learning languages. On the whole, we can say that language of study is the foundation of new inventions.
